Students will learn the importance of professional boundaries and ethical considerations in the hands-on healing, massage and bodywork professions. Students will learn to develop the appropriate framework for therapist-client relationships. State law, codes and legal aspects of clinical and private practice will covered. Students will also learn how to apply for the national exam(s) and application for state certification.

Students need to purchase the following book: Ethics for Massage Therapists by Terrie Yardley-Nohr. Publisher is Lippincott Williams & Wilkins
